With three days
until the start of stage one in the Propecia Rally New Zealand,
Turner Motorsport's Dylan Turner is "raring to go".
"Our test
day was really successful, we did approx. 65km without a problem.
We then used the car at Rally School for hot rides last weekend
and we had two problems, and they were minor, so our preparations
are on track for a great run at Rally New Zealand" said Dylan
Turner.
This week the
preparations continue. While Dylan and Sara are on recce in the
Northland stages, completing and checking their pace notes for the
event, the car is at Prestige Motorsport getting a final wheel alignment.
The team then
has scrutineering at 2330hrs on Wednesday night, and will spend
Thursday finalising the parts and tyres for the event.
On Friday, the
service crew (Brian, Bill, Ray, Pete, Ian, Jeremy, Sandy and Simon)
head off up to the service park at Paparoa to prepare for the first
of four services for the day. After the first service, Dylan and
Sara will head off to Batley 1, and start the serious part of 2003
Propecia Rally New Zealand.
"At the
end of each day we will be updating our team site (www.turnermotorsport.co.nz)
with our progress, so our supporters and friends can find out how
we are doing" said Dylan Turner.
Turner Motorsport
