Turner Motorsport
duo Dylan Turner and Sara Warrington had a great day out in Taranaki.
During the morning
they experienced a few problems with the tyres overheating causing
them to blister and a hard brake pedal. The service crew worked
on the car in the first service and by end of the second service
the car's balance and handling had been improved. It then gave Dylan
and Sara the opportunity from stage 5 onwards to attack the fast
and winding tarmac roads of Taranaki and gain a top 10 finish in
stages 8 and 10.
The team finished 17th overall from a start seeding of 38th and
achieved what they set out to do, they got in some very good practise
with the pace notes and by the end of the day had the car set up
for the tarmac round of the series later in the year. For

Our next event
is the first round of the NZ Rally Championships, the Otago Rally.
This is a two day rally based in Dunedin on 22nd/23rd May 2004.
