Hi All
The Performance
Finance & Leasing | Turner Motorsport team of Dylan Turner and
Sandy Bansal head to Dunedin this weekend for the second round of
the 2005 Parker ENZED New Zealand Rally Championship, Rally
Otago.
The event, based
around Dunedin has a central service park at Waihola and consists
of 14 Special Stages totaling approx 235km of gravel roads except
for the final tarmac Super Special.
Since the strong
finish at Propecia Rally New Zealand where the team finished 4th
Kiwi and 3rd Kiwi Group N, the car has spent considerable time at
the Pukekohe workshop of Gary Capper Performance having a through
refresh before Rally Otago.
I felt
on the last day of Rally New Zealand the Performance Finance &
Leasing | Turner Motorsport Evo 6 was a little sluggish and didnt
feel really that sharp. Gary found that the front pipe was partially
blocked and the recirculating valve was faulty. We had a test run
last weekend and the car is back to full power now, explains
Turner.
Last year
we had a hard time at Otago, incurring lateness with a suspension
problem and a blown head gasket.
This time
I know more of what to expect and I cant wait to get back
amongst our competitors and back on the great Otago roads,
says Turner.
The team would
like to thank our sponsors for the 2005 Parker ENZED New Zealand
Rally Championship - Performance Finance and Leasing, LJ Hooker
Manurewa, AB Panel and Paint, Team Evolution, Dunlop, Chiropractic
and Sport and Dale Perry from Rally Drive NZ for all his assistance.
Til next time.
Dylan Turner
& Sandy Bansal
