Hi All
The Performance
Finance & Leasing /Turner Motorsport team of Dylan Turner and
Sandy Bansal are off to Rotorua this weekend for the fourth round
of the 2005 Parker ENZED New Zealand Rally Championship, Hella International
Rally of Rotorua.
After a great
run at Racetech Rally Wairarapa which saw the team setting top 10
stage times and one top 5, the team is on high coming into round
four of the 2005 Parker ENZED New Zealand Rally Championship.
Run over 3 days
totaling over 250km of special stages, the rally provides some real
challenges; specifically the 47km Motu stage.
"Motu is
technically quite hard, as you need to keep good neat lines and
a lot of momentum through the corners, otherwise you lose a lot
of time "
"Last year
we had a highly public spin on the bridge leading into Motu, this
year I don't intend to get on TV3's "Plays of the Week",
we'll be keeping it neat and tidy and looking to go for a top 7
result to improve on our finish at Wairarapa", explains Turner.
"Gary Capper
Performance have given the Performance Finance & Leasing /Turner
Motorsport Evo 6 a thorough check since Wairarapa and given it a
tune, so it is back to its best, and I am raring to go, and so am
I."
The Hella International
Rally of Rotorua rally comprises 10 Special Stages totaling approx
260km of gravel stages; favorites include Manawahe and Motu with
new publicity stages in the Redwoods Forest. There will be service
parks at Rotorua and Matawai with the Ceremonial Start midday Friday
17th and Finish on Sunday 19th at 3.00pm.
The team would
like to thank our sponsors for the 2005 Parker ENZED New Zealand
Rally Championship - Performance Finance and Leasing, LJ Hooker
Manurewa, AB Panel and Paint, Team Evolution, Dunlop, Gary Capper
Performance and Chiropractic and Sport.
Til next time.
